Return to Money

Money Should Be Created for the Human Race, Not Lent to Them

When a central bank (or World Bank) has the power to create a country's money and lend it to that country's circulation, it is mathematically impossible to pay the interest since only the principal was ever created.

Even the principal can't be repaid because much of it has been saved by little people and put into nest-eggs. Bankers don't accept turnips and dancing lessons as payment, only the same cash that they themselves created.

If that country trades at a profit, the next country is obviously going to lose and you create so-called "developing" countries. What's more, it only delays the inevitable for the first country which is never free from debt.

Return to Money

What makes it worse is that this money lent to a country only goes to other banks to further lend in a process called Fractional Reserve Banking, where they can lend ten times as much as they themselves have. Where it really becomes a mess is when you have all these Wall St. brokers clamouring to borrow money from each other to lend ten times as much to the next person. Gold rush! One day, though, it all has to be paid back again and all the layers of this house of cards come down together and all the money in the world gets sucked back down a gurgler and you have a depression. The year 2010 is such a time.

What elected governments should do is put money straight into the directions they already put taxes, like education, public transport and the arts. Then there could be money in circulation that doesn't have to be returned again. Their central banks should just be public servants paid a fat salary.

If you only create money to lend it, then all money in the World is a debt. There are only negative numbers of dollars and you'll have these credit crunches and depressions every few decades and everybody will keep being surprised.

All the people across the world are desperate and destroying each other with a smile for every buck and there is enormous hardship and poverty - but not because the World's resources have run out. It was even worse in previous centuries when the world was seen as this infinite untamed wilderness to be conquered. There was even more poverty in the known world back then. Homeless people littered the streets of London and many people were absolutely enslaved.

For three or four thousand years, money has lost its link to the world's resources and become a power men wield over other men. The current banking system was basically created in ancient Babylon, a place used as a metaphor for evil in bibles and Reggae records. The languages of gobbledegook that money people speak are just the modern equivalent of the story of the Tower of Babel and they exist to confuse you and blow you out of the water.

There is no place to escape the flawed system, even if you live alone up a mountain in a cave. Those mountains are owned by a few rich men and anything you grow or create will be stripped from you as soon as they see the money in it. No; we all must wade down into the money mire and fight for our share because it's always running out. Your mating rights depend upon it, if nothing else; your right to afford presents at Christmas time.

What to Do

Of course doing anything to change it will get you assassinated, so what we should do is remember that there are more important things than money.

Given that it's such a mess, don't use it as the foundation of your life. Make sure you clock out and speak the truth occasionally. Observing a Sabbath might be the only way to do this.

Don't judge others by their money - because it is unfairly distributed. "The way you treat the least of my brothers is the way you treat God" - Jesus of Nazareth
